Formerly the Naval Lighter Than Air (LTA) Station Santa Ana, California, established in 1942. The location was base to the airships (blimps) during WWII and then helicopter operations. It is no longer an active base. These buildings are among the largest freestanding wooden structures in the world and an amazing architecture wonder! I had the pleasure of visiting the morning of February 7, 2015 for an event hosted by the Boy Scouts of America.
